• Credit me on your LJ userinfo site. Example:
  Gary Oldman mood theme by <lj user="anthrazit">
• If you use one of these mood themes please let me know! (For contact details see below.) I’d just like to see them in action and know if people use them at all. :B
• Don’t change any of the mood icons!
• Absolutely no hot-linking!
• If you use these mood themes for your GreatestJournal or anywhere else instead of LiveJournal, please link back to either http://www.knivesout.net or http://anthrazit.livejournal.com.

Instructions

You need to have a paid account to be able to use a custom mood theme.
This instruction is for the Gary Oldman mood theme. For a different mood theme, simply use a different name.

1. Download the zip file and unzip it to a folder.
2. Upload all images to your webspace. I can recommend Photobucket.com.
3. Log in to LiveJournal and go to the LJ command console, write
   moodtheme_create "Gary Oldman" "by anthrazit"
   (don’t forget the quotation marks!) and hit execute.
4. The next page should say:
   Success. Your new moodthemeid = ......
   Write this number down! Do not close this window!
5. Download this text file: moodtheme.txt (9 KB)
6. Replace 12345 with the number you just got and enter your own url for each file (where it says www.your-url.com).
7. Then, copy and paste your changed file in the little window and hit execute again. Then wait a few seconds.
8. The next page that comes up should say data inserted all over in black font. Scroll down all the way to make sure. Should there be something in red that says Failed! then there’s something wrong with that code, which could be either the number isn’t changed, or there aren’t the needed spaces in between the numbers and the url. Make also sure you didn’t overwrite the mood id number.
9. Go to Journal Display and select the moodtheme Gary Oldman from the pull down menu.
10. Hit Save Changes at the bottom on the page and you’re set. :)
